Fruit: Should We Force Our Kids To Eat It?

We haven’t had an incident like this since the The Great Banana Standoff of 2006. That was a hard fought battle, but we won, by God. We won.

The formidable opponent? Our toddler.

All we wanted him to do was eat a banana. We knew he liked them, well, he didn’t hate them. It’s not like we put Brussels sprouts in front of him. It was a darn banana!

After hours of begging, pleading, and the threat of no dinner, he finally decided to eat the banana! He took a bite and said “Mmm I like bananas!” He finished the whole thing, and then said “Can I have my meatloaf now?”
